Are my files really never uploaded?
Correct. Compression and splitting run in your browser using client-side PDF processing. The server only sees account info and file name/size logs, never file contents.
How much smaller will my PDF get?
It depends on the file. PDFs heavy with photos compress dramatically as embedded JPEGs are recompressed, while text or vector-heavy PDFs shrink less.
How does splitting work?
Split divides your PDF by page, measuring real byte sizes and re-dividing until every part is under your chosen limit (4, 5, 10, 15 MB, or custom). You always get valid, complete PDFs.
What does a credit cost?
You get 10 free credits on signup. A $15 CAD top-up adds 90 credits (6 credits per dollar). One credit processes one file, and credits never expire.
